I’ve made this so many times! During that special time of the month when my cravings hit, this satisfies them completely XD it’s rich, sweet, spicy, perfection! This is my favorite of all the recipes I’ve tried. Your “secret” of blending the pineapple and onion makes all the difference. Thank you!

hi ruth,
If the cooking wine is lesson than 1 Tbsp.. you can just skip it.I usually use it for meat dish..to tenderize and get rid of some bad flavor from the meat..but it is not critical ingredient.. if it’s more than 2 Tbsp.. the sauce or whatever..might need some liquid to replace the cooking wine.. in that case.. use water instead .. 🙂
