Got much bigger pile of pancakes, than expected, but it’s fine: they taste so good, that even no sauce needed.
For seafood I took 1 can of minced clams and chopped shrimps.

hi Heath Ince,
Yes, you can use other meat..but I recommend to season the meat if you do.. since land meat is not as savory as the seafood just itself.. maybe you can use bulgogi sauce to marinate the beef or pork.. thanks

hi Faith,
If your jeon stuck together well, actually I can think different cases.. first thing I can think is.. somehow your batter might be too runny.. Yes, egg does help to make the jeon stick together well..but if the batter is too runny, it will not stick together.. that case.. it’s better to make the batter a little more thick consitency.. another thing I can think is.. you might chopped your vegetable and seafood ingredients a little too big for jeon ?? When all the ingreidents has similar and small size.. the jeon can stick better. I hope it helps you.

I tried the recipe but in a bigger volume since I have a big family to feed… sadly my pancake didn’t stick together in the frypan… I did use the short grain rice but I am wondering if it’s because I didn’t use enough eggs? In the end, it turned out as a delicious fried rice still but would apperciate your thoughts as to why it might not have stuck 🙂

Nice to meet you… I find your blog and recipes very useful 🙂
I will definitely try this as I have a very picky daughter 😀
My family and I really like Korean cuisine and cooking them are quite challenging because we are Asian family living in europe, so I there are not many reference that are authentic and I’m glad to find your website 🙂
Keep writing and God bless you 🙂
