Made it tonight with mock squid (konjak) and let it marinate for 3 hrs. Texture was incredibaly soft. Very tasty recipe – For repeat

hi LaiPeng,
I’m sure that you are so happy with your son now. πŸ™‚ Aha, the soup will need fresh or frozen octopus … not dried ones. You can use the dried octopus.. to eat as plain it is… or can make side dish with it. I recommend this recipe for it better than this spicy squid bokkeum…

i ate this spicy octopus and noodle in seoul. It was delicious. Recently my son came back from Seoul and he bought 2kg of dried sliced octopus. Can i use this in your recipe? Would the result be the same?
Also for the noodles, which type would you recommend? TKS!
